Performance Marketing Manager (Social Media)

Mason Interactive, headquartered in NYC, is expanding, opening a second office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Key people are already in place there (working from home right now, as per Covid) and we are hoping that you can be the newest addition to our growing family.

The job is full-time, work-from-home until the office opens. This is a salaried position, and we will provide insurance, a full salary, benefits, vacation & sick days, a computer, and more.

Our 20-person team works with about 50 clients across a variety of performance marketing strategies; we strive to be our clients’ competitive advantage.

The Performance Marketing Manager mentors an Analyst, owns his or her own accounts, and trains under a Supervisor to work on a premier account.  You are expected to be “fluent” in Social, and willing to learn Search.  You will provide strategy, optimizations, and pacing for a small group of select clients. You will be the hands-on expert for: bidding, ad copy creation across Social and Search, account performance, all while learning how to manage, work as apart of close-knit team, and expand your skillset into new platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • A minimum of two current years working at an agency, ideally less than five years.
  • Ability to conduct Keyword Research (Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush)
  • Willingness to learn and grow into competencies in Google and/or Amazon advertising
  • Strong writing skills – you will be writing ad copy for desktop & mobile across a number of platforms
  • Hands-on, executional expertise in Facebook Ads Manager

“NICE-TO-HAVE” SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Priority consideration will be given to candidates who have one or more of the following areas of expertise:

  • Google Ads certification
  • Google Analytics certification
  • Facebook Blueprint certification
  • Strong competence in Marin
  • Ability to work in Datorama

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

The Performance Marketing Analyst will work on a team of three-to-five people, on approximately four-to-five accounts, helping our clients succeed across an evolving array of online platforms. You will work collaboratively with your Performance Marketing Supervisor on task such as:

  • Pacing accounts to assure optimal budget utilization
  • Writing ad copy to promote products and services
  • Executing strategies for increased sales
  • “Laddering up” issues to your supervisor
  • Exploring new platforms
  • Client reporting
  • Strategic planning
  • Light client communication

Compensation

  • The targeted salary for this position is $65,000 annually, paid every two weeks
  • Employees are expected to work-from-home until such time as the Covid crisis is resolved, after which we anticipate being in-office approximately 4 days a week
  • All new employees get a $300 home office allowance to set up their workspace
