Social Media Manager

Mason Interactive is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Performance Marketing Agency in New York City. We’re looking for candidates who work well independently, and are extremely organized. The position will include managing content planning, production, and execution across our portfolio of clients in direct-to-consumer and education verticals.

The role will also involve assisting various internal teams with strategy and content planning on company social media profiles. This process will include managing inbound requests and managing tasks from creative and operations departments, developing unified creative and messaging, and executing various strategies, to drive social media engagement and visibility. The position also has the potential to work client-facing to pitch ideas, and build strategic partnerships with new and existing clients.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • 2-4 years of experience in the social media field
  • Experience with copywriting and copyediting
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Background in project management or production is a plus
  • Background in Influencer Marketing is a plus
  • Independent, creative and full of ideas

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility

  • Project manage and execute inbound requests from internal teams
  • Project manage day to day social content for our clients’ social media pages and integrated channels (ex. Email Marketing)
  • Work with our internal teams to ideate on social content, blog posts, community management, and post using our CMS platform.
  • Developing, copyediting and copywriting social posts
  • Assist with reporting on monthly content and campaign content
  • May assist with launching paid media campaigns
